Sydney Aquarium: the shark tank from below

The tunnels under the shark pool were very impressive and the school children squeeled a lot! In contrast to the seal pool, you only went under the shark pool and could not look into it from above.. Sydney Aquarium is on the east side of Darling Harbour.
Sea Turtle Hospital News
Trippin’ Maybe we can’t send them out alone quite yet but we can at least show them a good time for a day. Our turtles rank high on the guest list for numerous eco-events planned by various organizations. In fact, when I glanced at our sea turtle, Ambassador Lennie’s, calendar last week I was surprised to see how fast it was filling up. But because Lennie is busy helping us with the new hospital …

Aquarium tank

Another photo I salvaged from my trip to the aquarium yesterday. I love fish but they are SO hard to photograph; they’re never still in all of their bodies at once, and once they decide to move they can REALLY move! There was a beautiful blue fish in this tank but it was never still enough to photo like these ones were kind enough to be. I hope to have lots of fish in my house when I get my own place
Sydney Aquarium: vertical tanks

These large vertical tanks gave a very clear view of small fish. Flash photography was allowed and even encouraged by a sign telling how to get the best photos..

Now, do I dare press ‘send’?”
