Big aquarium set for Crown Center
What a catch! Crown Center on Wednesday announced a $ 15 million aquarium that will open in spring 2012. Sea Life Kansas City at Crown Center will occupy the entire 45,000-square-foot first floor and about half of the second floor of Halls department store. Halls will shift some departments to other spaces in Crown Center.

Lost World Aquarium

In order to protect the recently discovered Lost World from tourists, UN decided to keep it underwater and to build a giant aquarium around. Two years after its opening, the Lost World Aquarium was already visited by more than 20 million people. See medium size on black.

In fact, it’s an image manipulation for a challenge in "Comment on my stream" (other proposals are here). The original photo was taken by Ali Johnson. I added Carol Sawada‘s photo of aquarium and played a little bit with the superposition.

Btw. I think I have to consult a psychologist: my 2 previous photomontages (1, 2) were also underwater … ;-)
